I'm Aidan Stewart — a Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology student and a jack-of-all-trades builder. I've founded and raced an endurance race team, machined production parts on CNC and manual tooling, helped build Texas A&M's first student-led engineering makerspace, and led a student team exploring thermoelectric power. This past summer I was a droplet generator design intern at ASML in San Diego.
Projects
Bent Rods Racing
Founded a team, built a low-budget endurance race car from the ground up, and took the Organizers' Choice award at our first 24 Hours of Lemons.
The Fab Lab
Building Texas A&M's first free, open-access, student-led engineering makerspace currently working as deputy lead and the TA for its prototyping course.
Homelab
Ongoing project to build a framework for an AI-managed homelab, capable of hosting a wide range of services with resistance to AI mistakes and with minimal human intervention.
Aggies Create — HotWatt
Led HotWatt, a team exploring the practicality and market viability of thermoelectric power generation for low-power emergency or off-grid applications.
